Here a student with aim to become a good teacher has been fighting to continue her studies. Our beneficiary has joined B.Ed 1st year in a college near Kanyakumari. Father was aged, unhealthy and receiving Rs.1000 as senior citizen pension from government, unfortunately her mother was also sick at home.
The main support for their family was through her brother who works as coolie and gets around Rs.7500 per month. Because of the situation, he was dropped out from college and forced to work. He works very hard and supported his sister to accomplish B.Sc Maths in First class.
Our reviewers have recognized this student as well deserve for our funding, so we approve the Aalayam scholarship of Rs.35000 for her tuition fee, with our best wishes to become a good teacher.
